This looks familiar...

Does this picture remind you of something?

Yeah, me too.

I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living,
My baby you'll be.

Love you Haven Jane!

I think we're ready for dance classes...

I think Haven has been to so many Tippi Toes dance classes with me that she is picking up on some moves!  I think we will be going to a Mommy and Me class very soon!  Please note her releve, plie, and bouree turn.  Also if you're a Tippi Toes fan, the "give yourself a hug" is in there too.  My goodness, this child is brilliant! ;)

More Park Time!

The weather has finally been so much nicer lately (until yesterday, brrrr! I shouldn't complain!) so we've been able to do some more park time at the neighborhood park!  Haven thinks we're the best parents ever for letting her play outside so much.  This particular day last weekend we packed a lunch and sat under a shady tree.  It was the best!  Love my little family!

And the next day in a very similar outfit (we were wearing orange for our Pokes all weekend)... "Hi!"

A Special Dress

So I have this special dress... I used to wear it all the time when I was little and I called it my "laur-laur" dress.  I wore it so much that my aunt's mom (shout-out to Betty McGuire!) painted a picture of me in it doing one of my favorite things when I was little - feeding the ducks.

Obviously my mom is awesome and kept this special dress.  You know what that means!  Haven got to put it on!!!  On our recent trip to Louisiana, we put Haven in the laur-laur dress and practically had a photo shoot!  Check out this comparison of me and my sweet girl in my favorite dress!

Does she look like me?  I think so!  But tons of Russell in there too. :)  And of course I have to show you the rest of the pics!

What's she pointing at?!  Her crazy Uncle!

I just love special things like this.  Here's to many more!

Computer Hacker

Watch out... this computer hacker may be coming for you!!!

Impromptu Playground Visit!

Haven and I were running some errands for work on Friday and ended up close by LaFortune Park in Tulsa.  We had some time before lunch, so I decided we should check out the playground!  We had so much fun and have since hit up the neighborhood park a couple times as well!  Like I said before, this girl LOVES the outdoors!  She had a blast!  Except for the sand on her hands of course...

See what I mean about the sand...

 Crazy eyes...
Already being a rebel and going up the slide...

 Tunnel time!!
 Peek-a-boo is always a winner...

Cooling off our rosy cheeks in the front seat of the car before going home!

I just love this girl so much.  As if it's not obvious or anything. :)

Labor Day Fun: Part 3!

The last day of our quick trip to my hometown!  As always, wish it could have been longer!  Why can't every weekend be a 3-day weekend?!

Just chillin'...
Love this one of my Mom, but my flexible child kinda ruined it...
Love this one.  Granpa loves Haven!

 Mommy got some kisses...
Loving all the stripes in this pic lol...
Giving Ariel some love... I have a feeling I've got a Disney-lover on my hands!  She better be anyway!
 Some fun tunnel time...
Uncle Spencer got in on the tunnel action too...

And that's it for our Labor Day weekend!  Well, not quite.  But that's all for now!

Labor Day Fun: Part 2!

The next day of our trip was my sweet Gran's birthday!  What a wonderful lady who deserved a wonderful day!  So glad we could be there to celebrate!  Unfortunately, I am a LOSER and didn't get one single picture of her on her day!  Boo!  Happy Birthday Gran!  I love you!  And I promise Haven does too even though she gives you that frowny face all the time!! :)

So sweet with Bozzy...  by the way, I promise other people were around on this day but this post is kinda the Haven and Bozzy show!
Showing off those ruffle bloomers :)
Aunt Rissa took my camera for this photo-shoot...

Love seeing Haven in the neighborhood where I grew up!  So special!

In awe of Bozzy making a noise through some grass...
Aunt Rissa gettin' artistic...
Random trip to see a movie set of the White House in Shreveport!  Pretty cool!
The house I grew up in... LOVE this place!  I can't believe how big that magnolia tree is!  Wonder if the people that live there now found my name written in the closet...
See, I told you Gammie was there too!
And Uncle Spencer!
Giving a pickle a try... we all thought she would make a funny face... nope, she LOVED it!
Chowing down on some "rolled up corn!"  I'm telling ya, this girl has an appetite!
Sharing some cake and sweet snuggles with Bozzy...

One more half-day of our trip left plus a special photo session in a special dress... coming soon!
